My First

 My First Herringbone, My First "home made" Toggle.
I did ofc not have the rigth sizes so I used only one size seed beads not 2 - cause I had this idea stuck in my head it was only gonna be Gunmetal colored cause that looks so nice.
I think it looks ok, tho I'm not to happy with the toggle, but for being the first ever I have to be happy with it

Yey! I looove herringbone. It's really nice, can't see anything wrong with the toggle either :) I haven't even conscidered making a toggle like that yet, myself... seems like a little too much work.

The wrong has mostly to do with size and positions.

You should really try, took me shorter time make it and attaching it than what I usually use on scratching my head figuring how to put on those little gold or silver things.
This "toggle" actually made some of me "UFO's" from ancient time having hope of life again. 

 Inca - I think that is it beautiful. I don't see anything wrong with it either. And for this to be your first try! I would love for my first attempts at things to work out so wonderful!

Its what seem to be called a "peyote toggle" ... you just make a little peyote tube/pipe/bead ... and then you attatch that

That turned out great Inca, and I don't see anything wrong with the toggle either.  I like gunmetal as well-that's a very versatile color.  Nice that you happened to have a bunch of different matching beads.

To put on the little gold and silver things try using crimp beads and the pliers made for it. I just wish I could bead that well! My stuff is more wire wrapping or beading with larger beads. You will however always notice the flaws in your own work when others will never see-even if you point it out to them.
