Calling on Mode Bead Shoppers!!!!

Couls anyone who shops at Mode Beads hel me understand their quantity per price?  I wasn't sure was a gross was, then I found out that it's 144 pc (is that right?)  if it is then 10 gross would be 1440 pc.  That would make their swarvoksi (what I was looking at) extremely, unbelievably cheap.  Could someone pleas make sense of this?

 A gross is 12 dozen. I mean it's still 144 pcs any way that you count them, but that is the textbook answer for the quantity..
