    Booth & Beads!!!

I am so sad...I can no longer get on BD at work anymore either.  Completely ruined my morning routine,  Anyway...I have alot to post.  Wednesday of this week I worked my first booth.  It was a christmas kinda thing but it was teeny.  The shop that we have some of our jewelry in was doing it.  We didn't sell much at all but I really think that was due to the lack of people and the day they chose to do it.  Still it was fun and it was nice to have our first ever booth set up.  I took pics which I am gonna post but I wanna go ahead and forwarn you that the pics are terrible.  I took them on my phone and I have a crappy phone camera.

I also wanted to post some pics of some of the things I make...I will prob. post a buch of stuff later too...=)

My Magnolia House line (the stuff at the booth) is all a signature color...but the above piece I made as a wedding gift for my cousin.  I know its blurry but again...it was a cell phone camera.  The rest of my pics shouldn't be so aweful.  At least you get the idea.  =)

This is a Magnolia House bracelet.  All these pics are of pieces I made quite a while ago...I have yet to upload the newer pics.  So most of this stuff is already sold.  Every single piece we make is one-of-a-kind.

More later!!!  Hope you enjoy!  I have gotten better and better at making these as I have done it for a year now and most of these are from like 8 or 9 months ago.  Let me know...have you see anything like them?  I hope not...I want them to have a REAL UNIQUE voice.  Thanks!!!

    Stick out tongue  OOOHH!! AAHH!!

I love the texture and patterning of the beads did you make them?

I'm sorry that the show didn't go well for you...but, at least you got your feet wet at a show. The next one will be tons better 'cause now you know what to expect.

You've done a great job on those. I look forward to seeing what's next.

    Have a great weekend

I agree-- LOVE the textures and patterns. I have seen some things that are SORT of like this, as in patterned and textured pieces, but yours are QUITE different. I really like them, especially the bracelets. I really like the several pieces linked together. I also like your displays, from what I can tell from a cell phone photo.

Better luck next time, but now you know what you're doing, right?

    Thanks!  Sure did!!!  =)

Yeah...I wish the show had gone better too...but I did learn alot from it...so it wasn't completely worthless.

Thanks!  I was hoping that the overall concept was completely different.  I have seen textured things like this too...but I really am hoping that I am right in thinking that they are still very unique.  Alot of the displays we made...they turned out great!

As far as knowing what I am doing?  mmmm...I suppose?  lol!!!

Thanks!  Its actually polymer clay!  I think the photos make it look a little metallic lol!

Glad you had a good time & learning experience even if the sales weren't great Kelly.  I really like the look of your pieces, and I can't say I've seen anything quite like them either.  Can't wait to see some more!

Fantastic.  Colors, texture, great.  The pieces with the beads spill out are very popular.  I make a lot of those.  Jeannie

    Hi!

The Magnolia House series is definitely a signature line and the beads look like ceramic or some kind of clay with the finish you gave them. I like them a lot!
