Sad I have been having a terrible time trying not to look in the new issue of Beadwork that arrived at the store last week. I don't want to look because I have a subscription to the magazine, but it hasn't come to my house yet. It is so aggravating to see it on the news stands before I have it in my little hands at home.  I don't know why this happens because I only live a few miles from the beadstore I work at.

Shouldn't the subscriptions go out before the news stands copies? I could just save the aggravation and just buy it from the news stands or LBS when it comes out and that way I wouldn't have to get all of them. If there isn't anything in it that I am interested in I could just skip that one and save a little money.

Sorry just had to vent a little. [:'(] I will survive!!!!

Shouldn't it come to the subscribers first and then the news stands?  Ugh!

I almost always see it on the news stand here before I get my copy but then mine comes via slow boat through China since it's bulk rate postage.  I did get my new B&B on Monday though.

I havent gotten any new Beadwork either ... I was actually getting worried about something being wrong .... or someone stealing my mail ...
But if its not just me thats missing my issue - I guess I can stop blaming the neighbors ...

We only just got our copies here in the store yesterday. We always get our copies a few days after Wal-Mart gets them. <sigh>

Nope still no magazine. I went to their web site and checked out my subscription and it says it was sent on 11/2 so I filed a lost or damaged magazine. So they should soon be slipping another in the post for me. Glad you got yours. I am working tomorrow and I am sure it will be doubly hard not to sneek a peek at the magazine. So far I have been good, but the temptation is really getting to me. Devil

I was going crazy waiting for it to hit the racks and the first store that had it was Barnes and Noble.

Of course a day later I got a package with my Challenge piece in it and a copy of the issue, plus extra pages of the Challenge section ready for a scrapbook.  Very cool!

It's a super issue this time....so many gorgeous projects.

Sue, I feel your pain.  I live up in the boonies, but it always seems that my local grocery store has Beadwork in before it gets to my mailbox!  I always flip through it in the store, anyway, because I just can't wait.  Sometimes I'll even buy a copy from the grocery store and then give it away when my subscription issue shows up.  (Plus this way, if I keep buying it from the grocery store, I hope they'll keep carrying all the Interweave magazines!)

And Mikki - excellent piece in the Challenge!  I know it's a little late, but I wanted to tell you how much I loved your piece.  It was absolutely beautiful - I love what you did with those colors.  Congratulations on a piece very well done!
