Ok so here is my info:
Metals: Sterling silver or brass. Slight allergy to pure silver (pmc clay) and to pure gold (like 24karat) I am not allergic to pewter products from www.greengirlstudios.com but I do react to plated peweter items. I am allergic to copper.
Necklace: 18in (adjustable if possible, from 16-18inches, I like danglies and drops. I wear anything from simple stone and pendant pieces to elaborate victorian and rennaissance inspired pieces) Sterling silver or natural brass (not plated) for findings please...I have picky skin :( NO copper please.
Bracelet: 7 1/2 inches
Earrings: 2in or shorter. Sterling silver only for studs, earwires and leverbacks. ( I have 2 piercings in each ear and tend to wear studs on the top and dangles on the bottom.)
Earring Swap Challege: Your mission, should you choose to accept it....is to make me something inspired by the word Fleur de Lis.
Colors: I like earth tones (greens, browns, blues) and jewel tones (amber, dark purple, garnet, cobalt blue) I do not like neon colors (lime green, bright pink, highlighter yellow) My favorite color is purple and my birthstone is sapphire.
Etc: I love stones...labradorite, moonstone, kyanite, larvikite...jaspers. I also like pearls, czech glass, swarovski's, vintage beads, vintage components, mixed media, and mixed metals.
I collect mermaids, fairies, dragonflies, butterflies, bees, trees and birds(especially ravens, owls and peacocks.), Hello Kitty (down to the Hello Kitty coffee maker. Yes Coffee maker) and my newest obsessions, lockets, vintage rosaries, and religious medals.
I am a basic stringer with some advanced wire work thrown in. I am currently working with natural brass, but can make a few things in silver. I make costume jewelry for Renaissance Faires, focusing on the Elisabethan era and well as Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras. Recently started using swarovskis...love them!
I will enjoy and cherish anything that is handmade from one of you. Woven, wired or strung.
